I'm a dedicated, full-time coach with a lifelong interest in health and performance. My approach is grounded in the latest rigorous science, but with an appreciation of the art of adapting for the individual.

I'm a distance runner with over thirty years experience on road, track, and cross-country. I've competed in national level competition. I've probably made every mistake in the book so you don't have to! My PBs are 5k - 15'18, 10k - 32'08, 10 miles - 52'34, HM - 69'42...all before super-shoes!

I'm a former Sports Therapist with a BSc from Birmingham University and seventeen years experience guiding injured athletes back to their previous performance levels and beyond. As well as in-depth knowledge of running injuries, I'm trained in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and sports training principles. Consistency is the key factor in any plan, so managing your training load and minimising injury risk is vital.

I'm passionate about nutrition, and hold a PGDip in Nutritional Therapy from Worcester University. This gave me a deeper appreciation for the importance of diet, sleep, and other lifestyle factors, as well an understanding of biochemistry and a biological systems analysis approach.

I offer ONLINE RUNNING COACHING, TRAINING PLANS, and TECHNIQUE ANALYSIS & IMPROVEMENT. Whether your goal is a national vest or to finish a Parkrun without stopping, I'm keen to help!!
